Distance Learning through June 15, 2021
San Jose, CA - On Tuesday, November 10, 2020, the Board of Education unanimously approved to continue distance learning through June 15, 2021.
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Education unanimously approved to continue distance learning through June 15, 2021. In addition, the Board would consider the potential of reopening and offering in-class instruction at any given time for specific high need students, including students with disabilities, English learners, and newcomers who require additional support as long as it is safe to do so.
About Franklin-McKinley School District: The Franklin-McKinley School District serves approximately 7,000 students ranging from Preschool to 8th grade at 16 schools in the city of San Jose, CA.
