Safety Reopening protocols for Staff and Students.

Franklin McKinley School District is committed to providing a safe environment for our students and staff and have implemented a series of measures for the voluntary return to enforce instruction based on the California Department of Public Health framework we also follow the requirements established by the Santa Clara public health department this video shows some of the measures we have put in place to protect our school community Opening Our campuses during the second Emich screening for symptoms of covid-19 is fundamental everyday students and their families have the option to utilize the company nurse app users that indicate they are healthy will be cleared for school and receive a digital pass in the case that symptoms are present the app notifies The District in families are not using the app then at the point of entry to school campuses staff will perform Emmanuel process to check for symptoms in the event that a student has signs of the coronavirus the student will not be able to stay and the parent will need to take the student home and asked to monitor symptoms and possibly get tested student test positive action will be taken regarding the classmates and Personnel that interacted with said student including notifications on testing encourage parents and Guardians to do to help screening at home families are required to renew known cases of covid-19 in their household to the school and mediately the school report all known covid-19 cases to the Santa Clara public health department as part of our safety plan we are implementing routine testing for staff it's worth noting that anyone entering the district facilities is required to wear a face covering the district has set up protocols for cleaning and disinfecting on a daily basis to improve circulation in quality we have upgraded to Murphy filters and bipolar ionizers in all of our heating ventilation and air conditioning units we have hired outside Consultants to test all HVAC units to ensure they are working properly and meet State guidelines for Air Serv Malaysian there are signs reiterating safety measures throughout our premises as we educate students about maintaining a healthy environment we promote washing hands with soap and water or you can count on a Tizer if soap and water are not available our social distancing protocols establish a minimum of 3 feet between students and 60 between staff members and students there are plexiglass stands in classrooms to minimize exposure we are issuing for math 2 2006 map to all staff or staff is also receiving for face shield we are providing disposable math to students and Personnel if they forget their mess at home we have created options for after school programs through the students can connect online to these programs from our school site we are working hard to provide support to our school community and the tools and possibilities to create a successful academic and social ammo experience for students thank you all for your cooperation we can do this together
